Welcome to Heavy2Healthy!
As far as my weight has been concerned it has felt like I have been on a balancing act between pregnancy, getting my body back and wanting my body to be better than it was before I was pregnant.
You see I used to be really fat and then I was always thinking that when my second child is conceived I will be just on the verge of a target weight and then end up starting from scratch. Well here I am with child number 3 on the way and back to starting from scratch again.
Not just that but I want to be the healthiest that I have ever been this time around. Of course during my second child in 2014 I was healthier than I was in my obese state, but I still enjoyed too much processed food
Then last summer I discovered Paleo and it made me realise how unhealthy certain mainstream diets are and how much healthier I wanted to be. I went down to my target weight and I had more energy than I had ever had in my life. This of course is all thanks to Paleo. And it made me want more and more of Paleo.
Before long I was preaching to my mum about feeding my dad (who had bad health at the time) processed foods. And since then my canned foods in my cupboards has gone down more and more. I have tinned tomatoes, tuna and coconut milk and that is about it!
And I want my unborn baby to have the best start in life and this is when we have this opportunity on here for us to embrace the Paleo way of life in pregnancy. Plus if I am here blogging about it, I am much more likely to stick to the new Paleo way of life!
So a big welcome to my blog and I am excited about being pregnant, even more excited about Paleo and best of all I am looking forward to sharing this journey with you!
