A high protein breakfast is the perfect way to start your day. My new apartment has a nice back patio with a grill. A few weeks ago I’ve used it for the first time. After trying a couple of recipes, I’ve discovered these tasty paleo burgers. Loaded with protein, they’re ideal for breakfast or any other time of the day.
My paleo breakfast burgers boast a good amount of healthy fats, slow digesting carbs from veggies, plenty of protein, and even some fiber. I use meat and leftover veggies along with lots of herbs and spices. Top them with salsa, tomato slices, or avocado. Sometimes I eat them with mayo or mustard for spiciness.
Even though there are a lot of ingredients that need to be chopped up, this recipe takes minutes to prepare. If you don’t have a grill, use your stove top. These paleo breakfast burgers are easy to make and boast so many flavors! Once you try them, you’ll never crave fast food again.
The meat is simply delicious and chocked full of protein. Personally, I use grass fed ground beef. It has 14 grams of protein, 30 grams of fat, and about 332 calories per 100 grams. The fats in beef are healthy and nutritious. Ground beef is also a great source of potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, magnesium, calcium, and iron. The veggies add fiber and micronutrients, such as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, and antioxidants. Avocado gives burgers a creamy texture and increases their nutritional value. This fruit is one of the best sources of monounsaturated fats, so it keeps your heart healthy and fights inflammation.
