Welcome to our Paleo resources page here at Heavy2Healthy.net. We are so glad you have come by to visit us and we want to share with you the top resources for your life on Paleo so that you can make your transition easily and so that it can be a real breeze for you.
First of all it has to be about the recipes. Without the Paleo recipes you are often back where you started and it is so difficult to get into the new food habits.
Learning how to make a delicious breakfast when before you ate toast or understanding how to make a delicious sauce when you had a previous life of mayonnaise or tomato ketchup.
We highly recommend that you check out the Paleo cook team and their 200 recipe ebook as it is full of ideas and where we originally started.
Here are 10 more recipes that we recommend that you check out:

Paleo Tips for a successful Paleo transformation
Here are a few other tips that I would recommend for helping you through your transition into Paleo:
The Paleo Tool Kit – We also love this product for a great starting point in getting your Paleo new lifestyle moving. I remember when I started Paleo and finding out what you can and cant have was so complicated and then you thought that you were going to live a life of meat and vegetables for the rest of your life.
But after checking out the Paleo tool kit you’ll realise that Paleo is nothing like that but a long term transition that you can start with a few changes at a time. Plus with these tools you will wonder what all the fuss is about!
Paleo Food Blogs That Offer Fantastic Resources
There is not just us out there for Paleo and here are a few that we personally follow and enjoy reading.
Against All Grain – what we love about Against All Grain is that the lady behind the site went Paleo after having a medical condition and what a difference it made to her life.
Nom Nom Paleo – Whenever I am looking for recipes this is always the site that comes up. It is hugely popular among Paleo followers and they bring out some delicious recipes. Just print them off and try them later.
Paleo Hacks – This is the same people as our first Paleo ebook that we bought and there is a mix of everything for anyone. I love the fact that they have recipes suited for those meals when you always think you can’t go Paleo when you really can.
PaleOMG – The recipes on this site are what I would call “perfect for my dad” he is the fussiest eater I have ever come across and even Paleo OMG could fix him up a delicious meal where he would enjoy it so much that he would go back for seconds!
Paleo In The Kitchen
There are also a few kitchen gadgets that we would be lost without if we didn’t have them for our new and improved Paleo lifestyle.
These are things that make cooking so much easier and for the price you pay for them they end up lasting you years and is a much cheaper investment in your health than in the old days of joining a diet club.
The Airfryer – This I would be completely lost without and if I went on holiday it would come with me. You can air fry sweet potatoes, burgers, vegetable mixes or even do something simple like some honey mustard pork balls. It is the modern way of deep frying but instead of a traditional deep fried piece of chicken breast it air fries them instead and uses very little coconut or olive oil.
I have even been known to do my breakfast in mine by adding a mixture of vegetables and then tossing them in honey and mustard along with salt and pepper when done.
The Spiralizer – This is another classic for those of you on Paleo and is probably the most famous of all the kitchen gadgets. It turns your vegetables into spaghetti noodles and all of a sudden you have found something to put on your plate instead of the traditional pasta that you would have eaten before. They are a learning curve to get your head around though especially when trying to spiralize hard vegetables like carrots but they are worth playing around with.
Another plus point is that I am yet to find a large spiralizer and they are all relatively small so that you can take them camping with you or on holiday without having to go back to pasta.
The Steamer – If you want to be adding more and more vegetables, meat and fish into your new Paleo diet then these are well worth looking into. These foods can be so boring otherwise and it gives you a quick and easy way to produce great food.
We bought a steamer many years ago and we were always really amazed by how good broccoli and salmon tasted in it and how quick you could make it.
It is also fantastic for other dishes such as asparagus wrapped in bacon, vegetables so that they don’t have that horrible taste that goes with steaming them or best of all for a quick lunch.
We also have a huge selection of ebooks and books at home that have personally helped us with our Paleo lifestyle that we wanted to share with you.
Whole 30 – This is probably the most talked about Paleo ebook. It is all about having a strict version of the Paleo diet with no dark chocolate, no honey and absolutely no baked goods with Paleo approved products. You also follow it religiously for 30 days to see what results it can make to your body. We loved it though we missed our honey way too much!
Davina Going Sugar Free – This is not strictly Paleo but it is about ditching added sugar in your diet and getting a lot healthier than you are now. It talks you through quitting the sugar over a period of six weeks and is a great read. It also has some great dessert ideas for when you miss all your old favourites.
