Paleo waffles are a favorite choice in my family. They’re perfect for breakfast, but can be enjoyed as a snack too. Quick and easy, waffles take minutes to cook and taste delicious. Almond flour gives a rich, buttery flavor, while bananas add sweetness. It’s no need to use sugar or honey. These crispy waffles are simply perfect!
There is more than one way to make paleo waffles. You can add blueberries, strawberries, coconut flour, almonds, cinnamon, and other healthy ingredients. With so many waffle recipes available, you won’t feel like you’re on a diet. Your family can enjoy these treats too!
My favorite paleo waffles are made with almond flour, real butter, eggs, bananas, and vanilla. I also add a pinch of salt and ground cinnamon. Sometimes I also prepare syrup using raw honey, coconut oil, and unsweetened cocoa powder. Applesauce goes well too! This recipe can be dressed up with more fruits and spices according to your taste.
One of the things I love the most about waffles is that you can make a bunch in advance and freeze them for later. This way, you won’t have to spend hours in the kitchen every week. Just cook a large batch so you always have a healthy snack at hand. You can even pack your waffles for lunch and enjoy them at work. They’re great as a post workout snack too! This paleo approved dessert will rival anything you could order from a pub or restaurant. The flavor is out of this world.
